Raised in Great Falls, Virginia, just outside of Washington D.C., Colter was a four-time varsity letter-winner in basketball and served as the President of the Entrepreneurship Club during high school. He attended UC Santa Barbara, where he earned his B.A. in Communication Studies and a certificate in Technology Management. He currently resides in San Francisco's vibrant North Beach neighborhood.
